(Aurora, CO) – The Korean Academy of Taekwondo recently promoted its Fall 2016 Black Belt class. The test was historic for several reasons.
- It featured 8 students from Lakai Taekwondo, which was the largest ever group from the Littleton School.
- Master Kyle Landon promoted to 4th Dan, becoming Master Bill’s first student to go completely from White Belt to 4th Dan. Both Master Zak Kirk and Master Katie Pottle were green belts when Master Bill took over their training, and both promoted to 5th Dan.
- Master Zak Kirk performed the ‘world premiere’ of Demo #7.
As always, there was tons of great sparring, egg sparring, grappling, service projects, essays, forms, demos, and more! The test is overall 4 parts long, for about 15 hours total. Congratulations to the following students:
