Although the United States is a a wealthy country, in terms of Taekwondo athlete funding we lag behind many others. KAT is attempting to address this by sponsoring our best competitors. Our black belt competitors receive funding to help defray travel expenses, tournament fees and equipment through the non-profit Rocky Mountain Martial Arts Foundation.
Funding comes from individual member schools in the KAT Network as well as from generous individual donors. Right now the team is just for Olympic Style Sparring and Sport Poomsae.
Check back soon to see team member bios, scheduled workouts, seminars and more.
